About

Bobbie Lynn Edwards

I became a therapist because from a very young age I had a need to help others. I was inspired by my father, a psychiatrist, to always act in service of others. He reminded me, every day, that we are all the same and we are all connected. My profession has taken a lot of twists and turns but what keeps my passion growing is knowing that we are much more than our troubles, worries, fears and diagnoses.

Bobbie Lynn Edwards M.Ed, NCC, LPC  has been a certified and state licensed psychotherapist in New Jersey for over 35 years. She has worked at two psychiatric hospitals where she received her clinical training; The Carrier Foundation and Princeton Behavioral Health in Somerset and Mercer counties.

She received her Master’s degree in Education from Keene State College in Keene, NH along with state certifications in guidance and counseling in New Jersey, Rhode Island and New Hampshire.

Over the past 10 years she has earned her REIKI I, II &III certifications as well as coaching certifications in Health and Wellness and Corporate Business and Executive Leadership.  She has held training workshops and seminars within business and industry, higher education, state government, school districts and community events in health and wellness and mental health.

Bobbie comes from a family of healthcare professionals; her father a psychiatrist and sister a psychiatric nurse.

Bobbie was born in Bologna, Italy from two parents who were both born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was raised in Rocky Hill in Somerset County, NJ.  She has lived in Hunterdon County for the past 14 years.
